Redden’s Contracting was founded 10 years ago by Ben Redden, who saw a gap in Kingston’s construction industry: a lack of dependable contractors who do what they say, when they say it. Frustrated by stories of unfinished work, poor craftsmanship, and inflated pricing, Ben set out to build something different—an honest, customer-first company with quality at its core.

From the beginning, Redden’s Contracting has been guided by three principles: trust, quality, and integrity. We’ve built lasting relationships with trade partners and clients, carefully hiring team members who take pride in their work and care deeply about the finished product.

While growth has been steady, we’ve never compromised our standards. Today, we operate with a large, highly skilled team and the capacity to take on everything from small-scale renovations to major multi-unit developments—always with the same level of dedication and craftsmanship that defined our early days.

  • While we welcome resumes at any time, Redden’s Contracting may not always have active job openings. During periods when we are not hiring, we may not be able to respond to your application. However, we do our best to keep strong candidates on file for future opportunities and greatly appreciate your interest in joining our team.

  • We regularly hire for roles such as carpenters, framers, finishers, and general laborers. We’re also open to bringing on administrative and project coordination staff as we grow in the future.

  • Most of our projects run Monday to Friday, with standard daytime hours. Occasional weekend work may be required depending on project timelines.

  • The majority of our projects are in Kingston and surrounding areas. Reliable transportation to and from job sites is very important.
